P S Ridgway join Palletways

P S Ridgway have recently joined the Palletways Network covering DD1 - DD11 postcodes. In order to cover the new postcodes they have put three new liveried 18 tonners on the road and employed 2 additional drivers. The Company believe that joining the Palletways network will allow them to become a one stop shop for all their existing and new customers.

Will Chippington Skydive

Will Chippington of Bill Chippington Haulage Ltd successfully completed a 10,000ft Tandem Skydive in Buckinghamshire this week. All money raised by Will for this event will go towards the Justene Chippington Cancer Appeal.

After recent evaluation of transport software RASE are pleased to confirm that Haultech I T Solutions are providing them with a new comprehensive logistics I T system. The new system integrates Transport and Warehouse Management with Vehicle Tracking and Document scanning. Customers will now be able to enter their own orders, view real time tracking and tracing of their orders, download POD's as well as many other on-line reports at their convenience.

Elddis Transport (Consett) Ltd Run the Great North Run 2008

Fourteen members of Elddis Transport (Consett) Ltd, including their MD Nigel Cook, completed the Great North Run in aid of their nominated charity, Willow burn Hospice.

Elddis runners were further incentivised by Nigel Cook’s promise of £1 for every minute faster they could complete the run than him but as Nigel had a good run this only raised an extra £90. The total raised by the Elddis team was over £4,000 which takes their fundraising for Willow Burn to over £25,000 since they first nominated the charity in July 2007.
